Caitlyn N. Greene, Esq., is a dedicated and relentless criminal defense attorney known for her tactical insight, client-focused advocacy, and collaborative approach.  Caitlyn is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland. With experience at the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, Orleans Public Defender Office, and the Federal Public Defender for the District of Columbia, she has built a strong reputation for working seamlessly with clients, legal teams, and colleagues to develop effective defense strategies and secure favorable outcomes.

She earned her J.D. from American University Washington College of Law, where she served as Vice President of the Criminal Law Society and excelled as a student attorney in the Defense Criminal Justice Clinic. Her dedication to service is reflected in her 635 pro bono hours, and she was recognized for her advocacy skills with the Highest Grade Designation in the Criminal Justice Defense Clinic.

Caitlyn’s career reflects her relentless work ethic and commitment to excellence. She began at The Mount Law Firm, PLLC as a Law Clerk, quickly advancing to Senior Law Clerk, and ultimately earning the title of Partner—a testament to her leadership and dedication. Now, she runs the firm’s law clerk program, mentoring law students through hands-on training and professional development. She also clerked in D.C. Superior Court, working on a felony and juvenile delinquency calendar, gaining invaluable experience handling high-stakes criminal matters and deepening her understanding of forensic evidence, investigative techniques, and the complexities of the justice system.

Caitlyn has worked on serious criminal cases and brings a strong background in investigations and forensic psychology to her practice. Known for her empathetic approach, she ensures that every client is not only vigorously defended but also fully supported throughout the legal process.
